The world awaits the sea of tablets we're expecting to get launched at CES 2011 but, with so many exhibitors and simultaneous press conferences rattling off like a barrage of Gatling guns, it's already looking hard to keep tabs on them all.

Fear not though, this is the place where we'll pin them all down the moment each touchscreen-only computer device is made official. We'll update this page each time another is announced and let you know by changing the count in header. There'll be links to our hands-on photos, news stories on each and anything else our team on the ground in Vegas can glean.

For a taste of what's to come, take a look at the tablets rumoured and expected for the early part of the year otherwise, keep this page close and watch the coverage unfold.

Asus Eee Pad MeMo

Size: 7-inch
OS: Android 3.0

Taking on the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the Asus Eee Pad MeMo will feature a 7-inch capacitive display, powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon chipset.?Running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) the new tablet will offer 1080p playback and offer support for a stylus.?It will come with dual cameras for video calling - 1.5MP for the front and 5MP on the back with an LED flash as well - and feature a MeMIC media phone extender along with a mini-HDMI to hook up to your TV. With an expected launch price of $499, it's set to arrive in-store in June 2011. HANDS ON PHOTOS

Asus Eee Slate EP121

Size: 12.1-inch
OS: Windows 7

Unlike the first from Asus, the Eee Slate EP121 will be a Windows 7 Home Premium powered device with an 12.1-inch and 1280 x 800 display. It will be powered by an Intel Core i5-470UM processor and come with 4GB of system memory and either 32 or 64GB of SSD storage, depending on how flush you're feeling.?It supports 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a mini-HDMI port, flash card reader, 2x USB ports and 2MP webcam. There's an internal speaker, a microphone, Intel HD graphics, it measures 312?x 207 x 17mm and weighs 1.16kg. How do we know all this? Well, first, we were there in Vegas when it was announced and, secondly, because it runs an OS that's actually available, it's already up for pre-order on Amazon. It is said to start for an eye-watering $999 and, with a January release, you won't have long to save up.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer

Size: 10.1-inch
OS: Android 3.0

Looking to set CES 2011 off with a bang - or at least flood the market before a competitor comes out with anything better, third on company chairman?Jonney Shih's list was the Asus?Eee Pad Transformer. It will sport a 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800, IPS touchscreen display that can be connected to a?keyboard - instantly turning it into a laptop. Like the Eee Pad MeMo, it will also run Android 3.0.

Specs include dual cameras (1.2-megapixel and 5-megapixel) wireless n, USB, Bluetooth and built-in card reader. It will come with 1080p playback, supporting Adobe Flash 10.1 and be powered by an Android-savvy Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor.?As well as some QWERTY ease, the keyboard contains a battery pack meaning you can extend the power life to up to 16 hours. Prices from $399 to $699 in April. HANDS ON PHOTOS

Asus Eee Pad Slider

OS: Android 3.0

Last on the list for Asus is the $499-799 Eee Pad Slider - a tablet with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard similar to the HTC Shift from some years ago. Essentially it has the same 10.1-inch IPS, 1280 x 800 display as the Transformer.

The new Eee Pad Slider weighs 886 grams, is 16.7mm thick and comes with Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor, Android 3.0 and offers the same two camera setup, wireless n connectivity and, again, Adobe Flash 10.1 support just like the Transformer. The price heads to the higher end of the range if you go for the 3G version, but do bear in mind there’ll be a contract on top of that as well. Yours, if this is the one for you, from May 2011. Vizio Via Tablet

OS: Android

If you live in the States, chances are you've heard of Vizio, as the Irvine, California based company is one of the leading suppliers of LCD TVs in the country, and with that kind of accolade, it makes perfect sense for the company to be launching a tablet at CES 2011. The Vizio Via Tablet has an 8-inch screen, Wi-Fi connectivity, three speakers and also a front facing camera as well. There’s an HDMI port and you’ll also be able to use it as a remote control for all your other Vizio products. Oh, and like many others we’re seeing on this list, it’s an Android runner. Whether we’ll see it in the UK or not, though, is another question.

Acer Iconia Tab A500

Size: 10.1-inch
OS: Android 3.0

The Acer Iconia Tab A500 will connect on the Verizon LTE network in the States, but whether or not it makes its way over to European shores is not known. It’s got a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with a Nvidia Tegra 2 1GHz dual core processor running the show and an Android OS to pull it all together - but not without an Acer UI (4.5) over the top. Flash 10.1 support has been confirmed.

Beyond that, specs are sketchy but the Iconia A500 will be optimised for a HD web experience, 3D gaming and multimedia playback, so this isn’t going to be a stifled businessy experience. No pricing details yet and not so much of a picture of the device either. Expect Pocket-lint to hunt one down in the coming days.

Toshiba tablet

Size: 10.1-inch
OS: Android 3.0

The Toshiba tablet may not have a name but we seriously doubt it’ll be called the Folio. It’s got a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display, a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 chip at the heart for 1080p playback and it supports Flash 10.1 on its Android Honeycomb OS. Nice. It’s got a front 2MP camera and a rear full 5MP option, HDMI, USB and mini USB ports, integrated GPS, an SD card slot, 802.11n Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth as well, of course. Put that all together and it’ll do pretty much anything you want in terms of video calling, entertainment and getting media on and off in a hurry. It also features Toshiba’s EasyGrip finish on the outside for good grip and will come in all sorts of colours when it arrives, fingers crossed, in the first half of 2011. Samsung TX100

OS: Windows 7

Powered by an upcoming Intel Atom processor, the Samsung TX100 boasts Windows 7, a range of connection channels and I/O ports, including wireless modules, USB/HDMI out via dongle, microSD card, oh, and a sliding out QWERTY keyboard as well. It comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a quiet-as-a-mouse 32 or 64GB SSD on board with boot times of a few seconds. There’s a 9-hour battery life and it comes pre-loaded with a range of Samsung apps as well as Bing ones too. Definitely more business than entertainment. HANDS ON PHOTOS

Sharp Galapogas E-media Tablet

Size: 5.5- and 10.8-inch
OS: Linux based OS

Now available in Japan and set for launch in the US in the second half of 2011, is the entry that is the Sharp Galapogas E-Media Tablet. As well as enabling web browsing - which we hope is a little speedier than its name - the 16:9 touchscreen LCD gadget links up to the an ebookstore service to offer you access to novels, movies, games and music as well as newspapers and magazines. It’s based on XMFD technology which adjusts content automatically to fit the screen and all of said downloadables are stored on microSD card, so you'll be able to access it even when there's no Wi-Fi signal available.

In Japan the Galapagos is available as 5.5- and 10.8-inch versions, although no screen size has yet been confirmed for the US model. The Japanese products are Linux-based but that could change for the West. HANDS ON PHOTOS

Wi-Fi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab

OS: Android 2.2

Samsung has announced that it will launch a Wi-Fi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab in the next couple of months for those who don’t want to bother with a 3G contract. Samsung Mobile announced the WiFi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available for purchase in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2011. Like the current model, it will run on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and features a 7-inch TFT display with 1024 x 600 WSVGA resolution. No word, however, whether the device will be getting an update to Android 3.0 that’s been announced at CES in Las Vegas, or even a price as yet. We’ll let you know if it’s coming to the UK.

Panasonic Viera Tablet

OS: Unknown

Panasonic used its CES press conference to officially announce its Viera Tablet, which is due out by the end of 2011. The device is designed to work with a variety of cloud services in conjunction with the maker's Viera televisions to view different angles to the content, push content from the tablet to the TV, and talk with others via social networks. It’s got an LCD touchscreen and will come in various screen sizes from 4 to 10 inches. Technical specs are still thin on the ground, but we'll bring you more news as soon as we have it. Motorola Xoom

Size: 10.1-inch
OS: Android 3.0

We knew it was coming and there’s been no disappointment with the launch of the Motorola Xoom. It’s a 10.1-inch, Android Honeycomb tablet with a 16:10 aspect, HD, 1280 x 800px display that’ll playback 1080p video and capture at 720p through a 5-megapixel camera. At its heart beats a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 CPU with connections via 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and even a decent sized 32GB lump of on board storage as well. The first wave coming in Q1 will not be LTE supporting, but the Q2 updates will be fully 4G. Throw in 10 hours of pure video battery life and we reckon everyone’s happy. HANDS ON PHOTOS

Viewsonic ViewPad 10s

OS: Android 2.2

ViewSonic has confirmed a 10-inch, Android 2.2, tablet that Pocket-lint exclusively told you about earlier in the week. The ViewPad 10s has a 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600 LED backlit capacitive multi-touch panel, and it is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 250 1GHz platform with a Cortex-A9 processor. It's got a 1.3-megapixel camera, boasts 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity and also offers native 1080p HDMI display out. Plenty of bases covered if not the most exciting one on the list. HANDS ON PHOTOS

Netbook Navigator NAV7, NAV9 & NAV10i

Size: 7-, 8.9- and 10.1-inch
OS: Windows 7

Honeycomb seems to be the one to have taken centre stage at the tablet-fest that is CES 2011, but Netbook Navigator is all about Windows 7 with its trio of launches. The NAV7 is the “first ever multi-touch 7-inch Windows tablet", the NAV9 is actually just short at 8.9-inches and the NAV10i is the biggest one at 10.1-inches. Each of them is powered by the latest Atom processors and have 2GB of RAM as well as SSDs, multiple USB ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optional 3G connectivity and front-facing webcams. The 7 and 10i both have capacitive touchscreens and the 9 has a low-resistive one. They'll have a custom UI over the top.

Dell Streak 7

Size: 7-inch
OS: Android 2.2/3.0

Dell has confirmed it will launch a 7-inch version of its Dell Streak Android tablet at CES in Las Vegas. The new tablet, that plans to go up against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Motorola’s new Xoom tablet. The new Dell Streak 7 will come with Android 2.2 at launch although Dell has confirmed that it will be getting Honeycomb (Android 3.0) very soon after launch. However, it will get a speed boost with an Nvidia Tegra dual-core processor superchip.?The Streak 7’s built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth capability and innovative front- and rear-facing cameras make chatting face-to-face with friends over 3G or Wi-Fi connections effortless both at home and on the go; 4G connectivity will be available in the US. All of that is topped off with Gorilla Glass to make sure you don’t wreck your experience the first time you drop it. HANDS ON PHOTOS

Dell Streak 10

Size: 10-inch
OS: Unknown

There’s absolutely nothing to tell on this one apart from the fact that we know Dell is seriously into the idea of a 10-inch tablet, largely because they told us so at the press conference in Vegas. Expect Android and hope for a better screen than that of the Dell Streak 7.

LG T-Mobile G-Slate

Size: 10-inch
OS: Android 3.0

The world’s been hovering all around the LG stand knowing that an announcement was coming concerning the launch of the LG T-Mobile G-Slate. That announcement has come and, despite it now being official, there’s still very little anyone actually knows about it. If there was one on the stand at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, that might help. There isn’t. It’s 10 inches in size, it’s 4G connected on T-Mobile and it runs with a Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. Et Voila.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G

Size: 7-inch
OS: Android 2.2

Samsung has had a good go at turning the old into the new at CES 2011. They’ve taken the phone out of the Samsung Galaxy S to make the Samsung Galaxy Player. They’ve taken the 3G out of the Galaxy Tab to make a Wi-Fi-only contract free version. Now the trick is to put that 3G back again along with LTE support to make the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G. Fortunately, the company has added a couple of other tweaks as well. The CPU has nipped up from 1GHz to 1.2GHz but, probably slightly more exciting is the bump of the 3.2-megapixel rear facing camera up to a 5-megapixel version. We only said “slightly”.

Pandigital Novel 7 & 9

Size: 7- and 9-inch
OS: Android 2.1

Not the most exciting Android tablets these two, but definitely something someone might label “budget” and that’s without even knowing the price. The Pandigital Novel 7 and Novel 9 run plain old Android 2.1 and don’t even have access to the Android Market. Not a lot of fun. Instead there’s a pre-installed Barnes & Nobel app so that you can download whatever books you need from there. You can get the Novels with 3G and Wi-Fi, courtesy of AT&T; in the States, or you can pick up a Wi-Fi-only version. No word whether these will be sold in the UK. No loss at all if they’re not.

OpenPeak OpenTablet 10

Size: 10.1-inch
OS: Android

This effort comes from Florida-based OpenPeak, who are showing off the OpenTablet 10, an Android (version not stated) 10.1-incher that boasts a transflective LCD for readability in all lighting conditions. The LCD screen automatically adapts to its surroundings, becoming an "ultra-high contrast" ebook reader in bright sunlight, and a bright full-colour backlit display in normal light. It also doubles up the touchscreen with a "a unique active precision stylus" too.?It's a Moorestown Intel Atom processor powered machine with a front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing one that can also shoot 720p video. It’ll output 1080p HD and it’s got all the 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity you’re after as well.

MSI WindPad 100A

Size: 10.1-inch
OS: Android

The 100A is still rather at the initial stages but will have a 10.1-inch multi-touch control enabled display, an ARM processor, a digital compass, a GPS locator, a G-Sensor gravity detecting device, an ALS light sensor and connectivity via Wi-Fi and optional 3G. So, MSI is pretty sure about function just not market logistics. It weighs in at 800g, is less than 14mm at its thinnest point and has a battery life of between eight to ten hours. Very reasonable. What’s not been so hot initially is the screen resolution but we wait to see if that’s going to get upped in the face of the competition.

MSI WindPad 100W

Size: 10.1-inch
OS: Windows 7

For every tablet there is an equal and opposite tablet and, naturally, for MSI that’s the Windows 7 version of the 100A called the 100W, funnily enough. It too has that 10.1-inch multi-touch control enabled display and comes with an Intel mobile processor, 32GB of space courtesy of a SSD, a G-Sensor gravity detecting device, an ALS light sensor and Wi-Fi connectivity only. When it actually turns up on the shelf, that is. On top of that, MSI has said it there’ll be its own Wind Touch software, which you may have come across of one of MSI's other Windows 7 touchscreen devices.

MSI Kid Pad

Size: 10-inch
OS: Unknown

MSI has shown off a prototype tablet at CES that is designed specifically for kids of parents clearly worried about giving the youngsters their prized possession.?The MSI Kid Pad will offer 8 hours of battery life, weigh 900g and is considerably more bulky than your average tablet. It has an integrated handle design that makes it not only easy to carry around, but also doubles as a stand once you flip it out 120-degrees.?If that wasn’t enough to appeal, the back plate will be interchangeable so kids can customise their Kid Pad to make it more them.
