Although Lenovo claimed that it wasn’t going to sell the LePad tablet outside of China, CEO Yang Yuanqing recently dismissed these rumors, saying that the device will reach the US in 2011. Lenovo recently let everyone know that they won’t be releasing an Android slate in the US till Honeycomb (Android 3.5 or 4.0) comes out. This is pretty strange, considering most tablet makers are waiting for Gingerbread (Android 3.0) to launch slates. Also, Lenovo claims that they won’t be launching a Windows 7 tablet like… ever.
