Samsung Galaxy Tab Loses “Porn” Button Through Firmware Update

Remember the Samsung Galaxy Tab “porn” button from the Romanian version of the slate? Well, Samsung and Orange are going to release an update to fix this strangely named function (“Porn” is short for “Pornire” in Romanian, which means “Start”). Thus, through the new update said button will be called “Acasa” (Home) a more suited name for the function, as Mobilissimo.ro informs us, after receiving a tip from Samsung Romania.

It would have been cool to keep that feature, making everyone smile and talk about it, but that version was only available in Romania. We remind you that the interwebs went crazy with the “porn” button news, publishing stories on top sites like Gizmodo, Slashgear or Devicemag. Well, we’ll wait for the next item lost in translation…
