Alcatel OneTouch T60 Android Tablet Spotted at the FCC

Of all the companies we expected to get into tablets, Alcatel was frankly quite down on our list… Well, here they are with an Android tablet no less. We’re talking about the Alcatel OneTouch T60 model, spotted recently at the FCC, where it’s being tested for approval.

Here’s the specs list, in case you’re interested in this Android 2.2. Froyo slate:

  • Connectivity: WiFi, GPS, 3G (North American)
  • Camera: 3MP (rear), VGA (front)
  • Storage: microSD
  • Display: 7 inch (not confirmed)

The device also comes with Google Maps, a 3.5mm headset jack and we expect it to be very affordable, like Alcatel phones usually are. Maybe we’ll this product for free with a reasonable contract?
