ASUS Eee Pad Slider might be approaching the big release day, now that it has surfaced on Amazon Germany. The retailer is listing the device for people in the region, who will be notified of its availability. ASUS promised a release much earlier than June, but here we are, still waiting…
This slate model was previewed even back at CES 2011 in January, so there’s been quite a wait till this point. The Eee Pad Slider was due in May and we remind you that it comes with a 1.2GHz dual core Nvidia TEgra 2 CPU, 10.1 inch touch display and 5 megapixel camera. There’s also a 1.2MP cam upfront and that sliding QWERTY keyboard that’s so appealing.
The OS of choice is Honeycomb and BGR has a source saying that the price will be somewhere between $499 and $799.
