The folks of Carrypad.com recently posted a video showing a close up encounter with the HTC Flyer Android-based tablet. We can see the device and its stylus in action, plus the palm rejection feature it’s got built in. Also, the slate is compared with the Galaxy Tab in the same video.
Flyer will be released in April on Vodafone’s network and we truly don’t know what to say about the whole stylus deal. I mean, it could be great for taking notes while reading and even on photos, but people tend to lose such accessories or never use them. At least the handwritting recognition is accurate…
Also, many were disappointed when they found out that the Flyer will be launching with Gingerbread and not Honeycomb, but we’re sure it will receive an update to the latest Android as soon as possible or maybe we’ll see a new Honeycomb tablet from HTC?
