Speculations have started appearing concerning what seems to be the launch event for the iPad 2. Well, sources say that the new tablet will debut during the special Apple event organized for the relase of iOS 4.3. As far as the launch date of the iPad 2 is concerned, the device is supposed to go on sale somewhere between April 2nd and the 9th.
Nothing is certain at this point, not even the fact that the new Apple slate will feature two cameras, an upgraded display (Retina?) and an Apple A5 CPU. Rumors also mention a speaker grill on the back and a MiniDisplay port instead of the microUSB. It’ll be quite strange to see the iPad debuting in an event created for a software release, but in case Apple starts painting some building with the promise of “something bigger”, we’ll know what to believe.
