The big day of CES 2011 has arrived and with it the moment of debut for Motorola’s long awaited tablet, that bears the name “Xoom”, as we’ve previously heard. This is the famous Honeycomb tablet we’re talking about, that gets specced and detailed after the break.
Moto’s device will debut via Verizon in Q1 and a 4G version will be available as an update in Q2. Here’s the specs list of the slate:
- OS: Android 3.0 Honeycomb
- CPU: dual core 1GHz, Nvidia Tegra 2
- Display: 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixels
- Connectivity: micro USB 2.0 HS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 3G, 4G LTE
- Camera: 5MP, dual LED, 720p capture, 2MP front facing
- Memory: 32GB internal memory, SD card slot, 1GB DDR2 RAM
- Battery: up to 10 hours of video playback
The product weighs 730 grams and it measures 12.9mm in thickness, but the really interesting thing is that Android 3.0 is once again named Honeycomb, after we’ve already found out that Android 2.4 was going to bear that codename…
