We all know that HP’s TouchPad tablet is getting closer to the launch moment, but apparently another bunch of products will accompany it. We’re talking about the HP Music Store and HP Movie Store, if recent rumors are to be believed. The info comes from an official presentation leaked to PreCentral.
The Music and Movie services will also use intelligent caching and support device syncing. The content bought online will be stored via cloud solutions and the “smart algorithm” we’ve heard about will make sure you get your favorite movies and music on the device, for easier listening, even without the cloud availability.
A streaming system is also expected on HP’s handsets, but it will require webOS 3.0, apparently. This move follows a previous deal, between Palm and Amazon, offering the Amazon MP3 Store on the Pre and other phone models. Now with Palm acquired by HP, the game has changed and partnerships have diversified.
